Three

We all drank, took pills and smoked ice. It was fun and felt so good.

After about half an hour, I got all jumpy and sweaty. All I wanted to do was move, I talked really fast, my pupils were huge and my heart was pounding so fast. I felt invincible, like I could do anything.

I headed towards the bathroom so I could wash my face, I was so hot.

I walked in and there were bubbles everywhere. I blinked and they were gone. I blinked again and they were back.

Then I started seeing flying colours, shooting at me from every direction, I started spinning round and round to doge them.

I threw up.

I went and sat on the couch, everyone’s voices were muffled. I just sat there, in a trance, just watching.

Everyone was doing their own thing. Jake and Scott were playing the sony. Sally and Lara were dancing and everyone else was just moving around the room talking to one another, going with the flow of the music.

Liz, Emily and David fell to the floor, all at the same time.

At first we thought it was a joke, it wasn’t.

Three fell to the floor.

Three started shaking and sweating like crazy.

Three were fighting for to breath.

Three started to choke on their own vomit.

Three went out cold, going white in the face.

We called an ambulance, and carried them down the stairs.

The paramedics took them away.

We all sat in the waiting room, unable to move.

We didn’t talk. We only cried tears of pain and sorrow.

They didn’t survive.
